My name is Beth Mills and I am an illustrator – if you need it drawn, I’m happy to help.
I have been drawing my entire life (as the boxes full of scribble-on papers in my mom’s attic will attest) and have always wanted a creative career. I was a fixture in the art classroom in junior high and high school and showed my work in a variety of different student shows and competitions.
I continued my creative education at Furman University where I majored in theater with an emphasis on design (scenic, costume, lighting – you name it, I probably did it). After graduation, I went to work at the Dallas Theater Center, where it quickly became apparent that my favorite thing about theater was, in fact, all the drawing I got to do.
I decided a career change was in order, and so, here I am.
I work both traditionally and digitally, and my favorite materials are technical pens, chalk and oil pastels, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and good old number 2 pencils.
